Gulf cleanup contract

Square One Solutions of Reno won a contract to help train hundreds of people to clean up the Gulf Coast oil spill.

The company owned by the Skowronek family was contracted by Greenworks Environmental Services of Elk Grove, Calif., to recruit a work force in the Gulf Coast, provide them with 40 hours of OSHA-mandated safety training and dispatch them to clean up oil that's spilling from an undersea gusher off the coast of Louisiana.

The work may continue for as long as six months, and as many as 1,000 workers may be trained and dispatched by Square One.
