A solar array and lighting retrofit designed and installed by Reno companies has been completed at the Legislative Counsel Bureau parking garage in Carson City.
The system was designed by PK Electrical and installed by Reliant Electric LLC.
The new lighting system is estimated to save $20,000 a year, and the photovoltaic system is projected to save $7,000 a year. The state earned $170,000 in rebates from NV Energy for the upgrades.
