The Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles' program to communicate with emissions inspection stations has received top national honors from the National Association of State Chief Information Officers.
The web-based system developed in-house by DMV programmers connects emissions stations with the DMV in real time, giving the department access to emissions data even during a test.
