The Nevada Office of USDA Rural Development said last week it expects to have $176,620 in grant funds available this year for agricultural producers and rural businesses to improve their energy efficiency or construct renewable energy systems.
Agricultural producers anywhere in the state and rural Nevada businesses in communities of 50,000 or less are eligible for the funds. Applications must be received by June 15 and June 30 respectively.
