A yard sale today and Sunday will benefit a Carson City 5-year-old battling brain cancer for the second time.
Organizer Kathy Johnson said they've received enough to donations to fill the Eagle's Lodge parking lot at 1380 E. Fifth St.
The sale will run both today and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with proceeds going to help Caden Huarte's family offset the expense of taking him to California for treatment.
There also will be hot dogs and a bounce house for the kids, said Johnson.
Donations to help the Huarte family can be made at any Wells Fargo Bank branch, account #5054084958.
