Farr Construction of Sparks won a $331,348 contract from the Washoe County government to harden up to 18 cells in the county jail.
Each cell will include a new metal security door, replacement of the porcelain sinks and toilets with stainless steel units, and replacement of the wood bunks with steel bunks.
