Obituary: Frank Davin

Frank Davin died peacefully at home on Sunday morning, November 27, 2011, with his family around him. A long-time Sacramento resident, Frank was born the youngest of nine children in Bridgeport, Connecticut, in 1939. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Celina, their daughter Lacey, and their four adult children: Celina Marie, Francis Davin Jr., Brian and Bonnie, Mary, and their eight grandchildren, all of Sacramento.

Frank was a devoted husband and father and a man of many hobbies and talents; he never knew a stranger. He was retired from the Air Force and was a passionate volunteer in his community.

A memorial for Frank will be held at St. Marks United Methodist Church at 2391 St. Marks Way, Sacramento, at 2 p.m., on Sunday, December 4, 2011. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to CASA, 1545 E. 15th St., Carson City, NV 89701.
