Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• A 19-year-old Gardnerville construction worker was jailed after a traffic stop on South Carson Street at 10:10 p.m. Wednesday. He was ordered held without bail for violating parole conditions including being in the company of a co-defendant, the vehicle's passenger.
• A 40-year-old Carson landscaper was arrested on a variety of charges including possession of prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at Carson Street and Koontz Lane. The vehicle was stopped by deputies after several illegal lane changes. The paraphernalia included a glass meth pipe and marijuana pipe. He was booked at 11:34 p.m. Wednesday, additionally charged with not wearing a seat belt and violating bail conditions. His total bail was set at $6,525.
