Air ambulance contract

American Medflight Inc., a Reno-based provider of fixed-wing air ambulance services, won a $3.5 million contract with the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Under the five-year contract, American Medflight will provide fixed-wing air ambulance services for veterans, primarily transporting patients from the VA Medical Center in Reno to larger VA centers in the San Francisco Bay Area where more specialized medical care is available.
