Felicia Archer has been named public information officer for the state's Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, where she is responsible for media relations and public information for the Division of Museums and History and for the Nevada Arts Council.
Archer previously worked as the public hearing officer for the Nevada Department of Transportation and as public information officer for the Regional Transportation Commission of Washoe County and for the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California.
She earned a degree in journalism from California State University, Northridge.
