A power outage is affecting 400 northwest Carson City customers, according to NV Energy.
Karl Walquist of NV Energy said a circuit at the Carson City station on Long Street went out for unknown reason.
Crews are out investigating the cause. An estimate is not available as to when power will be restored.
The outage reaches from West Nye and Mountain streets and the neighborhood north of Long Street off Fall Street.
