The Miss Douglas County, Miss Carson City and Miss Outstanding Teen 2011 contests are 3 p.m. today at the Carson City Community Center in Carson. Tickets are $15 from Shauna Bartshe, 775-230-3745, or $20 at the door.
The 2011 Miss Carson City contestants are Angela Cannon, Tiffany Leonard, Vannesa Macias, Marisela Avitia, and Lela Branstetter.
The 2011 Miss Douglas County contestants are Suthida "Bo" Khongkha-titham, Shalynn Swails, Danielle Lorntzen, Brynn Garrett, and Jordyn Curtis.
The 2011 Miss Outstanding Teen contestants are Tia Leonard, Jordan Lamoreaux, Tristin Silva and Leah Walters.
