Donald Claus, a registered nurse, has been hired as emergency department director at Northern Nevada Medical Center.
Claus previously worked as clinical manager of the emergency department at Sierra View District Hospital in Porterville, Calif.
He earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from California State University, Bakersfield in 1995.
