AT&T has completed installation of custom air-handling system at its facility at 150 E. 1st St. and earned a Sure Bet incentive payment of more than $20,000 from NV Energy.
Petty & Associates Inc. of Sparks was mechanical engineering consultant on the retrofit, which will save an estimated 330,000 kilowatt hours of electricity annually.
The retrofit replaces a convection-type cooling system on the building.
