Terminal upgrades under way

Kinder Morgan Energy Partners said last week it's completed the first phase of an upgrade to its diesel loading rack facilities at its fuels terminal in Reno. The project, which allows Kinder Morgan to supply ultra-low sulfur fuel to gold miners, also includes reactivation of a truck-loading rack which is expected to be complete in March.

Separately, Kinder Morgan said it purchased facilities from High Sierra Energy that will allow delivery of ethanol from railcars to the Reno terminal.
