Allison Edwards and Meredith Tanzer have joined the staff of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Northern Nevada.
Edwards was named director of resource development for the Reno-based nonprofit. She previously worked as director of fund development and marketing for the Crisis Call Center and as owner of ACE Nonprofit Consulting.
She earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from Northern Arizona University and a master's degree in nonprofit management from Regis University.
Tanzer was named events and marketing specialist.
She has worked in marketing and events planning for La Bussola & Center Gallery, Tree House Lounge and Heart Spot Gallery and as host for the Fashion for Philanthropy Event.
