Bernice W. Sheldon, 86, died Jan. 29, 2011, at her home in Washoe Valley. She was born Dec. 6, 1924, in Indiana to Vern and Ruth Ketner. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Sheldon in 1999. She is survived by sons Gene Sheldon (Marian), Bart Sheldon and Bret Sheldon; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. No services are scheduled. Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
