Daphne Lange has been named special events manager at John Ascuaga's Nugget.
Lange previously was marketing and communications manager for the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival. She also has worked at Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort and Grey Advertising in San Francisco.
She earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
