The documentary about the historic V&T Railroad will air on PBS Channel 5 in Reno at 7 p.m. Saturday.
The documentary takes viewers through the effort it took to accomplish what no other nation has ever done - reconstruct a historic railroad. Those who have ridden this reconstructed treasure will be even more impressed when they observe what it encompassed to make it a reality.
The DVD of the documentary will be available to viewers in HD for $24.99 and $29.99 for Blu-ray.
The DVD can be purchased by calling the Northern Nevada Railway Foundation at (775) 885-6833. Credit cards are accepted. All proceeds from the sales of the DVD will be used to keep the V&T running.
