Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Gary Allen, 44, a heavy equipment operator from Mound House, was arrested at 1:23 a.m. Tuesday at Airport Road and Highway 50 East on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a dangerous drug without prescription, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle, possession of a firearm under the influence of drugs or alcohol and second-offense driving under the influence. Bail was set at $10,000.

• A 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 2:20 a.m. Tuesday in the 2800 block of Airport Road on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $3,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• A mother reported at 1:01 a.m. that her 15-year-old daughter hadn't returned home.

• Report of jewelry stolen from the 3300 block of Imperial Way at 2:37 a.m.

• A Meals on Wheels delivery person reported at 11:24 a.m. that a client was unable to answer the door because he was inside and injured on Sherman Lane. Police gained entry and helped the man.

• A woman reported at 2:21 p.m. that someone took pictures of her two weeks ago and when she went into her vehicle the radio station was changed and mirrors moved.

• A caller at 2:49 p.m. reported they were rear-ended on North Carson Street at Winnie Lane. After the accidents the occupants of the other vehicle "took off."

• An orange Honda Civic reported stolen from Condor Circle at 10:40 a.m. was found parked and stripped of valuables on Kingsley Lane at 1:15 p.m.

• Report at 4:40 p.m. of a purse stolen from a bathroom stall at the Division of Child and Family Services office in the 1600 block of Old Hot Springs Road.

• Coroner call in the 200 block of Koontz Lane at 9:49 p.m.

• A 37-year-old Dayton man was arrested at 4:42 p.m. Monday in the 4500 block of Goni Road on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear. Bail was set at $1,586.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Arrest on B Street at 3:33 p.m.

• Report of large rocks in road on State Route 341 a quarter mile north of town.
