Pamela French RN, was the recipient of an "Excellence in Teaching" award for part-time faculty at Truckee Meadows Community College.
French and her husband Larry are Carson City residents.
The award was presented April 26 at the college by Dr. Jesus "Jess" Carreon, interim vice president, Academic Affairs and Student Services, and Susan Bluhm, RN, program coordinator for the CNA Program at TMCC.
French has been with the health science department of TMCC for the past five years.
