Weather stalls drilling plan

Lithium Corporation of Reno said last week it's uncertain when it will be able to begin exploration drilling on its Salt Wells property 15 miles southeast of Fallon.

The company has approval from the Bureau of Land Management for exploration for lithium deposits on the 12,320-acre prospect.

But an unusually wet weather during the winter created conditions on the Salt Wells playa that might result in too much disturbance of the surface, Lithium Corporation executives said.
