Herbert H. Gillie, 80, a lifetime resident of Carson City, died May 13, 2011. He was born April 5, 1931, in Sparks. He is survived by his wife Doris Gillie; daughters Ann Crockett (Mitch) of Gardnerville, and Susie Langford (Justin) of Carson City; and four grandchildren. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Lone Mountain Cemetery. Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City is in charge of arrangement.
