Gretchen Hofeling has been named vice president and corporate controller of Employers Holdings Inc.
She previously worked as vice president of finance for Employers. She joined the company in 2008 through Employers' acquisition of AmCOMP Inc., where she was vice president of finance.
Hofeling, who earned bachelor's and master's degrees in accounting from the University of Utah, also has worked for Ernst & Young as an audit manager.
She succeeds Cynthia Morrison, who resigned as chief accountant and corporate controller but will remain with Employers as senior president to complete several finance-related activities.
