Katelin Cawley Elverum and Bryan Douglas Frohbieter exchanged wedding vows April 23, 2011, in Big Bend National Park, Texas. The couple was married on the banks of the Rio Grande River at the mouth of Boquillas Canyon.

The bride is the daughter of Ken and Kay Elverum of Carson City. She graduated from Pacific Lutheran University and now works as a ranger for the National Park Service.

The groom is the son of David and Cynthia Frohbieter of Boonville, Ind.

A veteran of the Iraq war, Bryan is a graduate of the University of Indiana. He also works as a ranger for the National Park Service.

The newlyweds reside in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colo.
