Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All persons are innocent until proven guilty in court.

• A 26-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 12:21 a.m. Thursday after deputies say she hit a house on Beverly. Her car lost its front right tire and sustained serious damage in the crash but she drove away from the scene. She was charged with first-offense DUI and failure to maintain a lane. Bail was set at $1,050.

• A 24-year-old Carson City woman was arrested at 7:10 p.m. Wednesday after she was involved in a three-car accident in the 2100 block of Highway 50 East. She was charged with first-offense DUI and not having proof of insurance. Bail was set at $1,675.

• A 31-year-old Reno woman was arrested on drug charges Tuesday after a traffic stop at Nye Lane and Concord. Deputies pulled the car over because its license plates were expired. She was arrested on a warrant from Reno Justice Court for failing to pay traffic fines. A search of the vehicle turned up two glass pipes of the type used to smoke methamphetamine. She was charged with failure to appear and two counts of possessing drug paraphernalia and ordered held in lieu of $2,338 bail.
