Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent unless proved guilty in court:

• Gilberto Paredes-Estrada, 27, of Carson City, was arrested at 3:31 p.m. Thursday at Carson and William streets on suspicion of felony providing false identification to avoid prosecution, misdemeanor driving without a valid license, misdemeanor failure to appear. An immigration hold is in place preventing him from making bail.

• Kyle Montgomery Carpenter, 23, of Carson City, was arrested at 10 a.m. Thursday in the 1400 block of North Peters Street on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of prescription drugs without a prescription and gross misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $15,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• 10:01 a.m. - Missing person report in the 900 block of East Musser Street.

• 10:27 a.m. - Report of a forklift missing from the 3200 block of South Carson Street.

• 5:01 p.m. - Report of a man passed out at the wheel of a vehicle in the 1000 block of South Carson Street. A DUI arrest was made.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• 10:55 p.m. - Felony arrest in the 300 block of South Main Street in Mason Valley.

• 4:05 p.m. - A man reported his 59-year-old wife was "mental and off her meds" in Mark Twain. "States she has gone crazy," according to the log.

Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes.
