Bill Odom, 93, died September 13, 2011 at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center from age-related causes. He was born in Cranberry, NC to Nola Gouge and James Wesley Odom. Bill served with the U.S. Marines in the Pacific War Zone during World War II. He spent the majority of his business career in Hotel Management Services in the Washington, D.C. area. He was a 30° Shriner. He is survived by his son, David G. Odom of AZ; sister Shirley Bennett of Hampton, VA; and brother Charles Ray Odom of Dayton, NV. He is preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and two sisters.
At his request, no services will be planned. A private graveside memorial will be held at a later date.
