Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center and Truckee Meadows Community College will partner on a federally funded program to help newly graduated registered nurses make the transition to professional employment.
The program will provide new graduates with one-on-one mentoring and additional training.
It's expected to work with 86 nurses during the next three years, including graduates of Orvis School of Nursing, Western Nevada College, TMCC and Carrington College.
