The Goni fire in North Carson City is at 20 acres and contained.
Resources are being released.

Sierra Front Interagency Dispatch is reporting the Goni fire has grown to 10 acres.
In addition to the Carson City Fire Department and Bureau of Land Management,
On scene there are also three engines, two hand crews, a water tender, a Type-2 helicopter for bucket work, a Type-1 helicopter for bucket work, and two single-engine air tankers.

Fire crews are working a brush fire 1.5 miles past the water tank in Goni Canyon off Goni Road in North Carson City.
It was first reported at 1:17 p.m. and was estimated at that time to be a quarter acre.
Two small air tankers and two helicopters are en route.
