State Realtor awards

Blane Johnson, broker and owner of Incline at Tahoe Realty, has been named Realtor of the Year by the Nevada Association of Realtors. He served as president of the statewide association this year.

Other northern Nevada Realtors recognized by the Nevada Association of Realtors include:

* Charles Kitchen of Carson City, who won the Realtor Active in Politics Award for his work with state and local government affairs programs.

* Brad Spires of Gardnerville, winner of the Joe Nolan Award for spirit, passion and professionalism in serving fellow Realtors. He is past president of the state association's Legislative Committee and past president of the Sierra Nevada Association of Realtors.

* Marcella Syme of Elko, winner of the Realtor Achievement Award for outstanding service to local and state associations. She is the 2012 president of the Elko County Association of Realtors and winner of the 2012 Elko Realtor of the Year Award.

* Cheryl Delehanty of of Incline Village, winner of the LeadershipNVAR Outstanding Graduate award. She works at Coldwell Banker Select Real Estate in Incline and graduated from the Nevada Association of Realtors leadership program in 2005.
