JobConnect offers employment workshops starting June 12
Carson City JobConnect will offer four classes on life skills and employment preparation beginning June 12 through June 14.
There will be one class a day and each will run from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Carson JobConnect Office, 1929 N. Carson St.
Day one will focus on life skills; day two is how to apply marketing principles when selling your abilities and experience to an employer; day three on resume building; and day four on interview skills. To sign up for any of the workshops, contact JOIN at 283-0125 at least three days beforehand.
Shaheen Beauchamp finishes Carson Medical Group building
Shaheen Beauchamp Builders LLC has completed the Carson Medical Group OB/GYN and Pediatric Clinics. Both clinics are housed in a newly constructed 21,000 square foot building located at 1475 Medical Parkway. The facility is adjacent to the Carson Tahoe Medical Center campus and will consolidate both clinics into one central location. The project completion marks an 18-month culmination of design and construction efforts between Shaheen Beauchamp Builders LLC, Frame Architecture Inc, Wikoff Design Studios LLC and Carson Medical Group.
