Mining companies combine Nevada interests

Golden Predator Corp. and Seabridge Gold Inc., both of Vancouver, said last week they've nailed down the details of an unusual deal to combine their mining interests in Nevada.

The companies will contribute their Nevada properties to Wolfpack Gold Corp., which was created last year. Those properties include several advanced-exploration projects such as Golden Predator's Adelaide project in Humboldt County and the Castle Black Rock property under development by Seabridge in Esmeralda County.

Golden Predator and Seabridge said the transaction, which has been a year in the making, will allow them to focus on their Canadian interest.

Nathan A. Tewalt of Blaine, Wash., is chief executive officer of Wolfpack.
