Young Professional Network plans training

Reno-Tahoe Young Professional Network is moving to fill the void as some employers in the area cut back on professional-development training.

The Young Professional Network will launch its Higher Young Professional Education Series dubbed "hYPe" on July 12.

The training is led by Reno-based consultant Amber Barnes. The program is a sponsored by a partnership of Amber Barnes Consulting, United Federal Credit Union, and the Boys and Girls Club Young Professionals Committee.

Running through mid-October, the twice-a-month sessions will cover subjects ranging from leadership styles to development of high-performance teams. Cost is $200 for YPN members and $300 for nonmembers.

For registration, call 775-829-3555 or email execdirector@renotahoeypn.com.
