RSVP makes leadership changes

After 11 years, director of Marketing & Development Mike Hughes will be retiring from The Nevada Rural Counties Retired and Senior Volunteer Program.

"We have been fortunate to have had Mike's professionalism and experience through many years of sometimes difficult times, highs and lows, like all non-profits," said Janice Ayres, executive director of RSVP.

Ayres has promoted Susan Haas to the position of director of marketing and development effective July 1. Haas has more than four years of experience as RSVP's program director.

Tannis Causey will move into Haas' position as program director. Causey has worked with RSVP as an AmeriCorps VISTA, assisting Haas with RSVP's many programs.
