The Reno Rebuild Project, which will fund promising young businesses with contributions from three Reno bars, has partnered with the Community Foundation of Western Nevada.
The foundation will manage invested funds and administer the loan-selection process for the Reno Rebuild Project.
Michael Connolly, Chris Kahl, and Zachary Cage, owners of the Legends Grill, Sierra Tap House and the soon-to-open Brewer's Cabinet, have pledged 5 cents from every sale at the three establishments to the fund.
The first low-interest loan from the fund will be awarded through a competitive selection process in 2013.
