Obituary: Lewis N. Bowman

Lewis N. Bowman, 75, passed away to be with his wife on their 48th Wedding Anniversary September 5, 2012. He was born February 2, 1937 in Pennsylvania to Lewis Woodrow & Mary J. Bates Hoff Bowman. He served the U.S. Air Force from 1955 -1959. He retired as a SGT with the Dept. of Corrections, after 32 years, working from 1968-2000. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna; parents; brothers, William & Earl Hoff; sister, Marie Hoff Abbott; and grandmother, D. Kathryn Bates. Lewis is survived by his son, Lewis Rich Bowman & wife Debbie; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Bowman; brothers, Gene, Donald & Dwight Bowman, Thomas Huff; sisters, Bonnie Nueman, Linda Elliott, Pam Plyler, Connie Hauck, and numerous nephews, nieces, aunts & uncles. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 3-6p.m. at 720 Buzzy’s Ranch Road, Carson City, NV. Refreshments will be served.
