Paul Andre Huet has been appointed president, chief executive officer and a member of the board of directors of Klondex Mines Ltd's U.S. office in Elko.
Huet succeeds William Matlack , who served as Klondex's interim CEO since July and will remain on the company's board.
Huet previously was chief operating officer of Premier Gold Mines Limited. Huet also was mine manager at Newmont Mining's Midas Mine and general manager at Great Basin Gold's Hollister mine.
He earned an honors degree in Mining Engineering Technology from Haileybury School of Mines in Ontario and an executive MBA from the Stanford University School of Business.
