Douglas Peters, M.D.

Douglas Peters has been named medical director for Saint Mary's Health Plans.

Peters, who has more than 30 years of experience in the health care industry, previously served as medical director for Concentra Managed Care, CIGNA Healthcare and Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina. He also served as medical director for Saint Mary's Health Care Network from 1992 to 1997 and held a private practice in Reno for nearly 13 years.

Peters graduated from the University of Southern California School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles.
