Yerington man turns self in on lewdness-with-a-minor charge

A Yerington man was arrested Friday after turning himself in on a warrant charging him with felony lewdness with a minor under the age of 14.

According to the Nevada Highway Patrol:

Herbert Hall, 47, turned himself in at 1 p.m. at the Lyon County Detention Facility. Bail was set at $100,000.

The girl told her friends about the alleged incident, and they encouraged her to tell her parents. The Nevada Department of Public Safety Investigation Division handled the investigation.
