Housing agency recognizes lenders

Guild Mortgage, which has northern Nevada offices in Reno, Minden and Stateline, has been recognized by the Nevada Rural Housing Authority for booking the most loans reserved on the housing authority’s Home at Last Access and mortgage credit certificate programs.

The company also was recognized for posting the largest number of USDA loan originations in rural Nevada during the last federal fiscal year.

In other awards by the authority, Nevada Mortgage Services was the first inductee to NRHA’s Home at Last Hall of Fame for its work as a top-producing partner since 2006.

Eagle Home Mortgage was recognized for reserving the largest number of loans for new homes, and Academy Mortgage of Reno was recognized for reserving a high volume of loans as a recently approved lender.

Raymond James & Associates was recognized for development of the funding strategy for the Home at Last Access program.

Individual honors for top production and support of the authority’s lending programs went to Denise Beronio of Guild Mortgage, Shaun Bittick of Summit Funding, Renee Whitney of Axia Home Loans, and Shannon Geraldo, an internal processor at Greater Nevada Mortgage Services.

USDA 2013 All Star Awards went to Ricci Vineyard of Mason McDuffie for smallest loan, Annette Hunt of Guild Mortgage for largest loan, John Roussel of Cross Country for most improved loan servicing and Stephanie Rosemark of PrimeLending for outstanding rural marketing.

USDA Hail Mary Awards went to Connie Bowman of imortgage and Mitch Olson of South Pacific Financial Corp. for outstanding rural service.
