Health inspections

Carson City Health Department’s food-service inspections for Oct. 24. All scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations:

Arco ampm, 4190 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

San Rafael Coffee Company, 711 S. Carson St., Suite 3, 100 points.

Silver Oak Golf Club, main bar, 1251 Country Club Drive, 100 points.

Z Bistro, 725 Basque Way, Suite 1, 100 points.

Joanie’s Creekside Cafe & Catering, 1795 E. College Parkway, Suite 100, 99 points. The top of the water heater was dirty. The entryway of the dish wash room was worn and had areas that needed sealing.

Yogo Frozen Yogurt & Sweet Treats, 3250 Retail Drive, Suite 105, 99 points. Garbage storage lids were open.

Carson City Community Center, 851 E. William St., 98 points. The ice machine was dirty with biofilm buildup.

Juan’s Mexican Grill, 3680 Goni Road, Suite 2, 98 points. The garbage storage concrete base pad was not neat and maintained. The kitchen ceiling vents were dirty.

Villa Basque Deli, 730 Basque Way, 98 points. Interior surfaces of the main ice machine were dirty with biofilm buildup. Shelves holding clean utensils above the three compartment sink were dirty.

Comma Coffee, 312 S. Carson St., 96 points. Food was found outside original containers without proper labeling. Potentially hazardous food items were stored with internal temperatures between 41 and 45 degrees. Required alcohol warning signs were not posted.

Subway, 100 W. Winnie Lane, 96 points. The self closer on the door to the women’s bathroom was broken. The garbage storage lids were open.

Thai Thai, 1300 S. Stewart St., 93 points. All foods were not labeled and dated in the walk-in freezer. Boxes of food were stored directly on the floor in the walk-in freezer. A home-style microwave oven and a home-style toaster were used in the restaurant operation. Floors under the kitchen cooking equipment were soiled with grease. The exhaust hood baffles were removed from the exhaust hood.
