Carson City Road Report for Sept. 16-22

The following applies to Monday through Sept. 22:

Due to continued construction of the Carson City Freeway project, there will be lane closures on South Carson Street between the Spooner Interchange and Snyder Avenue from 7 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 23. Traffic will be restricted to two lanes in each direction during daytime hours and to one lane per direction at night.

On Thursday, Sept. 19, the outside northbound lane on Carson Street will be closed between Washington Street and Hot Springs Road. In addition, there will be work on northbound Hot Springs Road between Carson and Roop streets, but two-way traffic will be maintained.

There will be traffic control at the following locations due to utility work:

Gordon Street between North Edmonds Drive and Fairview Drive.

Cochise Street just north of Appion Way.

Near the intersections of Sherman Lane and Kit Sierra Way, Mayflower Way and Bel Aire Way, and Sherman Lane and Mayflower Way from Tuesday through Friday.
