Charles Adams sent in these photos of his annual Christmas tree and gift entourage.
“Christmas 2014 comes in screaming colors to promote both the fantasy and the reality of Christmas. The bold colors used pinpoint the festive mood of the holiday season. Use your own color sense on your Christmas tree and decorations,” said Adams, the former celebrity photographer, who has lived in Carson City since 2000.
Among the celebrities Adams has shot are Sammy Davis Jr., Bette Midler, Dinah Shore, Marvin Gaye, James Brown, Chuck Berry, Janet Jackson, Kenny Loggins, Rudy Vallee, Sarah Vaughan, Peter Tosh, Eartha Kitt, Miles Davis, Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone, Lola Falana and Tina Turner.
