The Carson City landfill has been closed to the public due to high winds, Utility Manager Dave Bruketta announced Thursday morning.
The National Weather Service has issued a high wind warning through the remainder of the day
Bruketta asked anyone requiring further information call the Landfill Gatehouse at 882-6066.
“We will continue to monitor the situation throughout the day,” he said.
