Education achievements: Douglas grad named to dean’s list

Devyn Hotho of Minden has been named to the fall 2013 dean’s list at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn. The dean’s list recognizes students with a semester grade-point average of 3.75 or higher on a 4-point scale.

Hotho, a graduate of Douglas High School, is a nursing major. She is the daughter of Steve and Inger Hotho.

Stucki makes dean’s list at University of Portland

Anna Stucki of Carson City was named to the fall 2013 dean’s list at the University of Portland.

Stucki is a freshman studying business administration.

Bates College honors Carson grad

Kylee Johnson, a 2013 graduate of Carson High School and the daughter of Susan E. Johnson of Carson City, was named to the dean’s list at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, during the first semester of the 2013-14 academic year. The distinction is earned by students whose cumulative grade-point average is 3.71 or higher.
