CleanTech accepting applications

CleanTech Open, a program that fosters the growth of clean technology companies, has begun accepting applications from Nevada companies.

Companies selected to participate in the CleanTech accelerator program receive training, mentoring and funding opportunities, said Chip Evans, the program’s Nevada director.

Participating companies also compete for prizes — cash, investments and in-kind services — that range from $10,000 for regional winners to $200,000 for national winners.

The application deadline is May 1.

For information, contact Evans at cevans@cleantechopen.org or 775-240-1222.
