UPDATE: A Fallon man died as a result of burns and other unspecified causes suffered in a Monday night house fire on Guymmow DFrive.
Churchill County Sheriff Ben Trotter identified the 54-year-old resident as Ernest Nadeau. Trotter said Nadeu died at Renown Medical Center in Reno, where he had been Care Flighted.
A residential fire on Gummow Drive Monday night seriously burned a 54-year-old man, reports the Churchill County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Ben Trotter said the man had to be rescued from the residence by his wife and two people passing by the house.
Trotter said the victim’s name is not being released at this time. He was transported by Care Flight to Renown Medical Center in Reno for burn injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Nevada State Fire Marshall’s Office.
