The 11th annual Sheriff’s Open House happens today outside the Sheriff’s Office on Musser Street.
The theme of the event is Cops ‘N’ Kids.
There will be free food while supplies last, games and music. Area residents are invited to meet the K-9 corps, motorcycle patrols, SWAT Unit, Nevada Highway Patrol and the Special Enforcement and gang teams.
There will be free Child ID Kits for parents.
The event begins at 10 a.m. and runs through 2 p.m.
