Staging area needed for Tesla

Tesla building a factory in the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center is good for Northern Nevada’s economy, but is bad for the already overcrowded Interstate 80.

A staging area should be built to load semi trailers onto rail cars for shipment. This should be mandatory for west bound traffic and suggested for eastbound traffic.

It will be 20 or more years before improvements to the Interstate 80 and 580 interchange can be made. Something needs to be done now.
